What makes the relationship with my daughter unique and special?
My daughter has a unique way to see the world that surprises me all the time. She is kind, dynamique, action oriented, smart and extremely curious. And one of the attributes that makes her stand out, is her capacity to laugh out loud and enjoy life. Her willingness to share a laugh with us, and make us feel what she feels is awesome. She is humble enough to apologize, also courageous to invite us to apologize when we are wrong. Her imagination, the way she creates and tells stories, her ability to learn and add new knowledge exactly where it should be, and how she cares about family make her the most precious and irreplaceable gift life could have offered me ever.
But wait a minute, why am I sharing all these personal details about my life with you today?
After 3 months of voluntary confinement at home (covid-19), she is going back to daycare today. So, I wanted to leave in my blog a written testimony of this special day, to go back to it sometime in the future and remember how incredible awesome, bonding, unique and magic this time at home was for all of us.
I am definitely going to find a way to reproduce “family voluntarily confinements/retraits” at least once per year, that’s for sure.
What about you?
- What has been special and unique during confinement?
- How have your relationships evolved? Are they worse, better, special, broken?
- What’s unique and special now?
My invitation for you is to make (that special person in your life) feel loved, special and unique
Please take a deep breath, keep yourself and others around you safe, and remember that:
No matter what happens, I strongly believe that we are incredibly better together!
