What brought me to write this post?

After learning that I might be working from home probably until the end of Summer 2020, I can tell that I got discouraged. Just trying to picture the different (imaginary) scenarios made me feel sick, until I saw in the eyes of my 5 year’s old daughter, everything I need to be as strong and courageous as she and old kids in the world have been during this quarantine. Since confinement started, she hasn’t compliant not once. Instead, she has been the sun that brings lighter days to our home, a source of inspiration, one among millions of strong awesome kids all over the world.

I have learned that …

  • If she can cope, of course I can cope too.
  • Once I lose hope, I just need to spend time with her and everything is back on track.

That makes me wonder…

  • We have been offering tons of public support to front line workers, but what about our kids, who have bravely helped us go through confinement + pandemic + everything else?
  • Yes, we can and we will go through this pandemic!

My invitation is to get inspired by the courage our kids have

I personally thank you for reading my article. I celebrate your courage, bravery, perseverance and resilience.

Here some reflections I have for you today:

  • How do you celebrate the courage your kids have shown?
  • When you lose hope, what do you do to get back on track?
  • How would you thank them for their efforts to bravely help you pass through all these?

Please stay at home, take a deep breath, keep yourself safe, and remember that:

No matter what happens, I strongly believe that we are incredibly better together!

  1. I love this post. My greatest blessing right now is spending time with my daughter. She is 22 and I get to appreciate what an amazing young woman she is.
